Sunshine Fest 2027 will be co-hosted by the Brechner FOI Project, the University of Maryland and the National Freedom of Information Coalition. We’re looking forward to seeing you at the University of Maryland, just outside of Washington, D.C.
More sessions! We’re going to celebrate freedom of information at the local, state and global levels across four days, including hands-on sessions and training, as well as sessions for journalists, state coalitions for open government, civil society groups, government custodians, academics, global leaders, historians, librarians, commercial data providers and more.
Partner up! If you would like to participate in the conference as a sponsor, exhibitor or partner ??' to help bring more people to the gathering through fellowships, and more capacity for AV/streaming of sessions, contact David Cuillier at cuillierd@ufl.edu.
